Colt & Super Colt Divisions (Ages 15-18)
(15-18 years old by May 1)
The 14th Ward Colt and Super Colt divisions are the real deal! 60 foot mound, 90 foot bases, and competition across the city in the Pittsburgh City Sports league makes this an exciting and highly competitive option for our 15 to 18-year-old players. Seasons are typically 10-12 games (based on the number of communities with teams and weather) and the Championship games for Colt and Super Colt players are held at PNC Park! 14th Ward usually has a 15U Colt team, a 16U Colt team, and a 17/18 Super Colt team, although the Colt league is technically a mix of 15 and 16-year-old players and Super Colt a mix of 17 and 18-year-olds. The season begins in May, once high school baseball has been completed.
*Due to the more rigorous nature of baseball at this level, players will need to tryout and be accepted for the team(s).
